Job Summary:
The Repair Engineer is responsible for supporting repair operations for VAT products at the Service Center through efficient execution, technical competency, and strong operational discipline. This role plays an important part in supporting customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, revenue contribution, and overall business performance. Repair engineer needs to perform inspection, failure analysis, troubleshooting, repair and testing of VAT products according to company standards and procedures.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides in-house advanced level technical support to conduct evaluation, failure analysis, repair reports and cost estimation for VAT products
- Ensure repair activities with documentation are completed accurately and within required timelines.
- Support operational KPIs including revenue, turnaround time, productivity, quality, and service performance.
- Proactively monitor and maintain the service workflows to complete assigned tasks .
- Work closely with team members and support related departments such as Sales, FSE, Product Group and FAE.
- Follow company SOPs, safety requirements, and operational standards consistently.
- Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, teamwork, and customer-oriented mindset in daily operations.
- Must be available to work overtime as required.
- Other jobs assigned by service manager as required.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years relevant work experience.
- High school diploma required, a college degree in technical field preferred.
- Accountable, Proactive mindset, Organizational, and good communication skills.
- Physically fit to lift up to 50 pounds and to stand on your feet for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Strong mechanical assembly, analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
- Understanding of Basic Electronics and drawings.
- Ability to function independently and multi-task.
- Computer skills - proficient with Microsoft Outlook and Office applications.
