MAIN ROLE AND ACTIVITIES
- Responsible for all physical binning activities for incoming shipments into the warehouse (where applicable)
- Responsible to ensure accuracy of all transactional entries into the current ERP system for :-
- Goods Receipt for all incoming goods from factories
- Adjustment of inventory via approved Stock Variance Adjustment Form
- Continuous housekeeping of parts and location via current ERP system Warehouse Transfer menu
- Responsible to ensure high accuracy of pick parts request from Customer Support / Service Team / Sales Team via Customer Service Team and its related controlled return documents.
- Arrange and control all logistical requests from Customer Service for local deliveries or export shipment
- Undertake customs clearance activities (where applicable) and ensure shortest delivery lead time from port to warehouse or final destination
- In some sales organizations, support and ownership for any other administrative duties may be required and will be communicated in clarity.
- In some sales organizations, the Logistics Specialist may be the primary person responsible to deliver or collect parts with a VAT owned vehicle for logistical support.
- Any other duties as required on project or necessity basis from the Sales Operations Manager
KEY EXPERIENCES
- At least 5 years of experience sub-process of the full order to cash process, direct logistics and inventory management an advantage
- Business Diploma preferred
- Working knowledge and understanding of ERP systems and their use in a global manufacturing environment
- Proficient in full Microsoft Office suites, especially Excel
- Ability to demonstrate good written and oral communication skills
- Good analytical problem solving ability for ground operations
- Forklift Operations Certified
- Languages: English and 1 other Asian language in oral and written
