Job Description

Manage the operational activities of inventory and distribution for the local sales organization and undertake all shipment co-ordination activities inbound from factories.

 Participate and execute all Supply Chain programs in direct guidance from Regional or Global Operations to meet :-

o Efficient operating order entry for purchase orders in ERP system

o Efficient operating of trade working capital values (IV, DIO, DSO)

o Takes, develops and implements new customer requirements and solutions and embeds them into our existing supply chain management process landscape within the VAT Group

 Support in document all work instructions and work processes (in relation and not limited to Supply Chain) for the Local or Asia region

 Support and participate in all leading strategic project to develop and implement ‘Regional inventory locations’ at best costs

o Supporting as backup to the Regional Inventory and Distribution Manager during his/her absence

o Analyze and contribute local demands proactively to the regional inventory strategies and tactical solutions

 Support the Regional Operations Manager, Asia in executing all activities in the implementation of the strategic and tactical deliverables pertaining to :

o Customer Contracts and / or Customer Consignment Stock programs

o Global distribution network considering last mile shipments

o Potential ‘Regional Distribution Centers’ setup

o And other important and urgent projects coming up the next years

On Time purchase order placements for inventory at local level

 On Time Delivery for local shipments

 Improved Days Inventory Outstanding (DIO)

 Reduction of slow moving inventory (or obsolescence) locally
