POSITION SUMMARY:

 

VAT is looking for an experienced Key Account Manager (KAM). The KAM is a strategic leadership position responsible for leading a matrixed global team responsible for execution of VAT group strategy to increase VAT’s revenue, market share and profitability.

 

Ideal candidate should have a proven record of developing business while increasing customer trust and loyalty, demonstrate strategic thinking and an ability to provide fact-driven proposals to solve complex problems by leveraging a globally matrixed team

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Strategic leadership and coordination of a cross functional team of engineers, service technicians, customer service, product management and finance including aligning team resources and structure in order to effectively execute the global sales strategy;
  • Demonstrate leadership with peer groups and management helping to propagate a single (ONE VAT) team approach to the business;
  • Understand and communicate SICARRIER’s business and technology road map and drive teams to develop innovative products, improve product quality, attain/maintain the number one supplier position, and maximize revenue, margin and market share;
  • Execute strategic account plan for SICARRIER - maximize revenue, new product adoptions and key technology engagements;
  • Achieve revenue targets while maintaining a long-term, sustainable, value-based relationship;
  • Cultivate effective relationships with customers at all levels, focusing on high level SICARRIER management relationships, enabling VAT to gain significant preferred supplier status on SICARRIER process equipment;
  • Develop quarterly and annual strategic growth plans aimed at increasing market share and driving strategically important corporate objectives;
  • Prepare monthly sales forecasts for presentation to VAT management
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal departments through communication of customer situations, opportunities and overall market conditions;
  • Orchestrate internal action plans based on customer feedback and continuous improvement activities to achieve customer satisfaction;
  • Lead in contract and commercial negotiations and must coordinate efforts with VAT business unit leaders, global product managers and Management.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

 

  • Travel is required; approximately 10-20% should be expected.
  • Multinational and cross-culture exposure

                                                                             

REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Experience in managing a semi equipment account for a publicly traded company preferred;
  • Proven negotiation skills at executive level.
  • Must have the ability to work in a team environment, work under pressure and adapt to demands of a changing environment;
  • Vacuum Technology, semiconductor process experience, and system architecture knowledge required;
  • Strong interpersonal, time management, analytical and communication skills, creativity enthusiasm and a positive can do approach required;
  • Fluency in Chinese and English.

 

EDUCATION:   4 year technical degree; Master degree/MBA or equivalent experience is preferred.
