MAIN ROLE AND ACTIVITIES
Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
Understand customer needs and requirements and advise on appropriate product selection
Responds to requests for quotes, applications assistance, and resolving customer issues
Provides direct support for Direct sales managers, channel partners, and distributors
Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales manager for further development and closure
Close sales through diligent follow up and achieve quarterly quotas
Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
Maintain and expand your database of prospects within the assigned territory
Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals
Participate in sales team meetings and take responsibility for sales improvement through initiatives and other assigned action items
Input and track customer engagements via CRM system
Proactively drive the sales pipeline by ensuring all quotations and opportunities are entered in the VAT CRM system and followed up through completion
Provide technical support to sales channels and distribution partners (email/phone/onsite)
KEY EXPERIENCES - What experiences bring success to this position?
At least 3 years of direct or indirect sales experience including agent representations
At least 2 years of CRM administration or data maintenance
Business Diploma or Degree preferred
Proficient in full Microsoft Office suites, especially Excel
Ability to demonstrate good written and oral communication skills
