Main Purpose of the job 

Sales manager is co-responsible for VAT’s market success, sales, growth and expansion in the respective country as well for some Key Account customers, while overseeing all aspects of his business. The Sales Manager will need to be highly driven, with the ability to successfully execute sales strategies.

Job Description

MAIN ROLE AND ACTIVITIES

  • Sales responsibility for the assigned sales area and/or key customers
  • Sales-oriented support and acquisition of new customers
  • Share of wallet increase with existing accounts
  • Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in strategic customer accounts
  • Collaborate with the Business Units to close agreements with large customers
  • Technical and commercial development of highly customized solutions and offers
  • Preparation of offers, ensuring further offer tracking and closing
  • Monitoring of the market in relation to competitors as well as technical and commercial trends
  • Planning and implementation of product presentations and local trade fairs with support from the HQ
  • Participation in regular sales meetings and assistance in determining the short and medium-term sales planning
  • Complaint recording, forwarding to customer service and ensuring customer oriented processing

 

 

KEY EXPERIENCES - What experiences bring success to this position?

  • 5 years’ experience in sales, preferably in the vacuum industry ,Solar or in related areas such as mechanical engineering, components or similar of the high-tech industry
  • Distinct customer and market orientation
  • High technical training in mechanical engineering or physics
  • Travel activity approx. 50-60%
  • Good handling of MS Office products and ERP systems
  • Good English Language skills in speaking and writing are necessary
