Development and verification of advanced motion control algorithms for ultra-fast motion

What you will explore:

The very demanding production processes in the semiconductor industry require precisely regulated process conditions in the vacuum chamber to ensure a consistent quality of the semiconductor products (i.e. microchips). The goal of this work is to build up a test environment to simulate and verify new actuator control algorithms used in products/tools for the semiconductor industry. 

 

Possible work packages are:

  • Implementation of developed algorithms with Matlab & Simulink
  • Testing and verification of novel control algorithms on the test set up
  • Performance verification of developed control algorithms and comparison the with existing solution
  • Transfer the developed algorithms from the development controller to an industrial solution

 

What you will need:

 

  • Theoretical Background in mechanical, electrical engineering or similar
  • Programming skills in C
  • Programming skills in Matlab & Simulink
  • Skills & Knowledge in electrical motor control
