General Purpose of Job:

The Repair Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating the end-to-end repair process to ensure timely delivery, high quality standards, and customer satisfaction. This role acts as the primary interface between customers, service engineers, repair technicians, supply chain, and sales teams, ensuring efficient communication and execution of repair activities.

Duties & Responsibilities:

 

  1. Repair Process Management
  • Coordinate repair orders from receipt to shipment.
  • Monitor repair progress and ensure target turnaround time (TAT) is achieved.
  • Prioritize repair jobs based on customer requirements and business priorities.
  • Track repair status and proactively address delays or bottlenecks.
  • Ensure repair documentation is completed accurately and on time.
  • Maintain repair records and documentation for audit purposes.
  1. Customer Communication
  • Serve as the primary contact for repair-related inquiries.
  • Provide regular updates on repair status, delivery schedules, and potential risks.
  • Coordinate customer approvals for additional repairs and warranty decisions.
  • Support customer escalation handling and issue resolution.
  1. Planning & Scheduling
  • Coordinate workload allocation with repair engineers.
  • Manage repair schedules to optimize resource utilization.
  • Monitor capacity and identify resource constraints.
  1. Parts & Logistics Coordination
  • Order spare parts for  timely availability.
  • Monitor critical parts shortages and communicate impacts to stakeholders.
  • Arrange inbound and outbound logistics for repair units and spare parts.
  • Support inventory management and high-runner parts planning.
  • Support Customer Operations in periodical parts inventory audit, cycle count, scrap and inventory turns

  • Quality team in Switzerland/Malaysia
  • Repair engineer and Manager
  • WW service center (Japan, Taiwan, China, Singapore, US, Switzerland, Malaysia)

 

 

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • BS/College degree with engineering or management
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • >3yrs experience of CS team/engineering team in SEMI/Display industry
  • Strong customer focus and commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Prefer verbal and written communication skill in Korean and English.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team-based environment.
  • Demonstrated skills in using computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong ownership/mind-set of teamwork, positive mind
  • Prefer the experience of SEMI/Display capital companies.
  • Prefer the experience of vacuum process/valve operation in SEMI/Display industry.
  • Prefer technical competence for mechanical/electrical/software.
