Functional Area: Repair Engineer
Position Title: Repair Engineer (>2yrs experience) Date: July/2026
General Purpose of Job:
The Repair engineer supports warranty/paid service for customer owned valves. Required activities are FA(Failure Assessment) activity/repair activity/final test activity and customer communication support at the point of technical view. It needs to work closely with relevant departments/HQ and needs to align with Service Center manager/Service coordinator for repair scheduling/best approach.

Travel: When required regionally and internationally (less than 20% estimated)
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Perform the failed valve FA(Failure Assessment)/repair
2. Technical communication with customer/HQ based on valve FA(Failure Assessment) report
3. Perform ERP update for FA/Repair related activities
4. Close work with relevant departments(Customer Service team/Operation team/Sales team/Field Application team)
5. Communication/alignment with Service coordinator/Field Service team.
6. Perform on-site support to fix field issues if needs.
7. Perform scheduling for the failed valve FA

• Customers (OEM, End user, Sales partners) • Other div. in VAT-Korea
• Quality team in Switzerland/Malaysia • Coordinator and Managers
• WW service center (Japan, Taiwan, China, Singapore, US, Switzerland)
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
• BS/College degree with mechanical engineering, electronic engineering, electric engineering, mechatronics engineering, material science engineering
• >2yrs experience of CS team/engineering team in SEMI/Display industry
• Prefer the experience of SEMI/Display capital companies.
• Prefer the experience of vacuum process/valve operation in SEMI/Display industry.
• Technical competence for mechanical/electrical/software.
• Strong customer focus and commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Prefer verbal and written communication skill in Korean and English.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team-based environment.
• Demonstrated skills in using computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong ownership/mind-set of teamwork, positive mind
