JOB TITLE: FAE, GSE

REPORTS TO : Engineering Manager

 

Primary role & responsibility

  • Provide technical support to guide end-users who are the semi-conductor and display manufacturing companies in Korea in product selection or required specifications.
  • Project management skill to run the evaluation activities with customers and internal organizations.
  • Prepare TRM (technical review meeting) together with BU and account managers.
  • Lead product promotion activities (value selling) by close collaboration with BU/Sales.
  • Work closely with account managers and BU to ensure rapid response to opportunities and effective solutions to customer issues.
  • Support complex technical escalations for end users in cooperation with PM. Sometimes can be included in OEMs as well for satisfying end users’ request.
  • Grow BU revenue and identify new business opportunities.
  • Professionally represents the company to the customer. Utilize knowledge of company’s product lines to keep existing/ potential customers informed when new/ additional needs are identified.

 

Additional Requirements & Remarks

  • Quality issue following up if it is assigned by manager.
  • Analyze and report industry trends and technology issues/changes that could impact VAT.
  • Contribute to VAT application engineering network.
  • Sometimes irregular tasks which are assigned by manager when there is a need to respond urgently for team and VAT.

 

SKILLS:

  • Good knowledge of semiconductor and/or display process and application. Especially knowledge and fully understanding of SEMI and/or display equipment is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills -- in writing, by phone, and group and one-on-one presentations.
  • Mandatorily speak Korean at the level of a native speaker and have a good English communication skill, because the main role is to escalate the clarified requests and problems from customers to BU and to explanate BU’s strategy to customers.
  • Ability to identify customer pains and define required product features.
  • Ability to comprehend and relate technical product and process specifications.
  • Ability to condense information into action lists.
  • Good problem-solving skills and strength in managing conflicts.
  • Skillful at building relationship with customer.

Minimum Qualification

  • Good experience in semiconductor/display frontend equipment or components.
    5+ years’ experience in a FAE/account management position in semiconductor/display equipment or component industry is highly advantageous.
  • Experienced with matrix organization.
  • Knowledge of VAT valve product range is advantageous.
  • Nationality : Korean or Mandatorily speak Korean at the level of a native speaker
  • Education : BS in Engineering disciplines or equivalent education.
  • Language skill : Eng. Conference call and oversea biz travel
  • No commuting problem with current office region (Hwaseong si)

  • Experience : 5+ years of semiconductor/display frontend equipment or components company, or end-user company
  • Major : Machinery, Semiconductor, Electronics
  • Language skill : free communication in Eng.
  • Certificate : language-related, work-related
