YOUR CHALLENGES

• Leading a team of engineers defining and tuning VAT’s mechatronic products
• Accountable for the system design including motorized products (Stepper, BLDC, servo motors) and pressure control
• Accountable for new feature development, customization and 2nd level support
• Definition of test systems for product verification and collaboration with the lab in measurement and control
• Ability to scale up PLC product development
• Drive engineering excellence by improving processes, tools and knowledge exchange
• Working in a cross-functional, multicultural and globally spread setup

YOUR COMPETENCIES

• University degree in mechatronics / electrical / systems engineering
• Experienced in leading successful development teams
• Multi years of knowledge in development of mechatronic systems such as drive technology, sensors, embedded software design
• Knowledge in Stepper-, BLDC- and Servo Drives, motion controller and control theory
• Knowledge of communication protocols (EtherCAT, DeviceNet, Ethernet, Profibus)
• Fluent in English & German
