YOUR CHALLENGES
- Leading a team of engineers defining and tuning VAT’s mechatronic products
- Accountable for the system design including motorized products (Stepper, BLDC, servo motors) and pressure control
- Accountable for new feature development, customization and 2nd level support
- Definition of test systems for product verification and collaboration with the lab in measurement and control
- Ability to scale up PLC product development
- Drive engineering excellence by improving processes, tools and knowledge exchange
- Working in a cross-functional, multicultural and globally spread setup
YOUR COMPETENCIES
- University degree in mechatronics / electrical / systems engineering
- Experienced in leading successful development teams
- Multi years of knowledge in development of mechatronic systems such as drive technology, sensors, embedded software design
- Knowledge in Stepper-, BLDC- and Servo Drives, motion controller and control theory
- Knowledge of communication protocols (EtherCAT, DeviceNet, Ethernet, Profibus)
- Fluent in English & German
