Intern in Sustainability Management

 

Are you looking for an opportunity to gain experience in Sustainability Management or obtain valuable experience during or after your education? Here is one of many interesting topics VAT can offer: You support Sustainability Management in the daily business and assume responsibility for tasks and dedicated projects.

 

 Responsibilities:

 

 As an Intern working in Haag, St. Gallen (Switzerland) you can expect to:

 

  • Support the Group Sustainability Management in the annual sustainability reporting process
  • Ensure successful project management for data collection, validation and reporting from planning to delivering/reporting
  • Interact with stakeholders inside and outside the company to gather and discuss information and share insights
  • Analyze and interpret data
  • Support in quality check and review of the sustainability report
  • Summarize insights of the report and prepare for internal and external communication (e.g. via tailored presentations)
  • Collaborate with the Group Sustainability Management team on other projects 
  • Work in a hybrid setup (a mix of in-office and remote days)

 

Qualifications: 

 

  • Initial exposure to project management (whether academic, extracurricular, or professional) is required. Reliability, high dedication to quality and independent working style are a must
  • Knowledge about Sustainability Reporting and/or Carbon Accounting is an advantage
  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills with a sense for pragmatic solutions
  • Fluency in English, intermediate German speaking skills are a must
  • Experienced in Excel and PowerPoint
