Project Manager Engineering
Purpose of the role
As a Project Manager Engineering, you will lead cross-functional product development and engineering projects from concept through implementation, ensuring timely delivery, stakeholder alignment, and innovative solutions that support business and customer objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead product development, customization, relocation, and cost-down projects with a strong focus on innovation.
- Manage cross-functional project teams within a global matrix organization.
- Oversee end-to-end project execution, ensuring delivery on scope, timeline, quality, and budget.
- Act as the main interface between project teams and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment that encourages continuous learning and individual contribution.
- Promote continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimize project processes and outcomes.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure successful execution.
- Coordinate technical, supply chain, marketing, and quality activities throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemistry, Physics, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related field).
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, ideally within a global matrix organization.
- Experience leading complex product development projects from concept to prototype with minimal supervision.
- Broad understanding of engineering, supply chain, marketing, and quality processes.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, MS365, DevOps, and project management tools.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are considered an advantage.
- Experience in the vacuum technology or semiconductor industry is beneficial.
