Main Responsibilities

  • Coordination and monitoring of daily operations in mechanical manufacturing
  • Technical support for CNC operators, setup technicians, and employees in the machining area
  • Ensuring an efficient flow of materials and orders within production
  • Support in prioritizing and processing production orders
  • Monitoring compliance with quality, safety, and process standards
  • Support in troubleshooting and escalation of problems to the Team Leader
  • Conducting and/or supporting shopfloor meetings
  • Support in the onboarding and training of new employees
  • Monitoring key performance indicators such as productivity, scrap, OEE, and on-time delivery
  • Participation in Lean, continuous improvement (CIP), and process optimization projects
  • Deputizing for the Team Leader in their absence

 

Requirements

  • Basic technical training, preferably as a polymechanic, production mechanic, or in a comparable mechanical profession
  • Several years of experience in CNC manufacturing or mechanical production
  • Sound knowledge of machining processes, tools, and production workflows
  • Strong understanding of quality and processes
  • Strong organizational skills as well as a solution-oriented and independent working style
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Experience with ERP systems and common MS Office applications
  • Willingness to take responsibility for day-to-day operational activities
