Purpose
As part of the operational Indirect Purchasing team, you support Category Management and internal stakeholders in ensuring efficient procurement of services and IT‑related needs. Your focus is on quality, cost, delivery performance and excellent internal customer service. This role is business‑critical for smooth daily operations and for achieving IDMS savings and performance targets.

 

Your Responsibilities

 

  • Lead RFQs, manage quotation processes and support price clarifications
  • Support negotiations in collaboration with Category Management
  • Create, manage and track purchase orders for services and IT categories
  • Maintain and strengthen supplier relationships
  • Assess potential new suppliers and contribute to supplier evaluations
  • Maintain accurate article and supplier master data in the ERP system
  • Take ownership of a defined operational procurement scope
  • Contribute to improving processes along the entire Source‑to‑Pay cycle

 

Your Profile

 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement or a related field (equivalent practical experience also valued)
  • Procurement certifications (e.g., Procurement Specialist) are an advantage
  • A few years of experience in operational procurement, ideally in services and/or IT
  • Proven experience working in a structured, corporate environment
  • Strong ERP skills; experience with Microsoft Dynamics / D365 is an asset
  • Solid understanding of processes and enjoyment in working in a structured, organized way
  • Confident communication skills and strong stakeholder‑management capability
  • Analytical, solution‑driven and proactive working style
  • Fluent English; good German skills strongly preferred
