The Switzerland team in Haag is looking for you:

IT System Engineer

We are looking for an experienced IT System Engineer to actively shape and further develop our global IT infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the stable operation and continuous optimization of our system landscape, both on-premises and in the cloud.

YOUR TASKS:

• Planning, operation, and further development of our global IT system landscape with a focus on Azure, ESXi, SQL, and Citrix

• Support of hybrid server and virtualization environments (on-premises and cloud)

• Technical responsibility for Citrix infrastructures and their continuous optimization

• Participation in IT projects in the areas of Microsoft Azure, VMware ESXi, Microsoft SQL Server, and Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops

• Ensuring system availability, performance, and security

• Collaboration with internal departments and external service providers

• Documentation and further development of IT processes and standards

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

• Completed degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification

• Several years of professional experience as a System Engineer or in a similar role

• Knowledge of VMware ESXi, and Citrix environments is an advantage

• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and ideally other database systems is a plus

• Confident use of remote support tools such as TeamViewer

• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style

• Strong team and communication skills

• Excellent German (nice to have) and English skills, both written and spoken

• Willingness to participate in on-call duties
