Responsibilities

  • Lead and ensure the successful global implementation and operation of FMEA processes in accordance with VDA standards.
  • Moderate and facilitate design and process FMEA workshops and risk analyses.
  • Drive the continuous improvement and optimization of internal risk analysis processes and methodologies.
  • Deliver FMEA and quality method training programs to employees worldwide.
  • Support knowledge transfer initiatives and promote best practice sharing across the organization.
  • Present FMEA methodologies and results to customers and external stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain effective cross-functional relationships to support quality and risk management objectives.
  • Support the Quality organization during internal and external audits.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new international quality methods and strategies.
  • Monitor FMEA-related KPIs and define, track, and follow up on corrective actions to improve performance and effectiveness.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Qualification as an FMEA Specialist.
  • Fluent German and English language skills with the ability to communicate and negotiate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong experience with FMEA methodologies, processes, and their systematic application.
  • Profound experience with quality processes and mechanisms related to high-tech components.
  • Knowledge of integrating FMEA methodologies into organizational processes.
  • Understanding of organizational and technical processes.
  • Strong analytical and methodical approach to work.
  • Excellent presentation, moderation, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in international teams and within a matrix organization.
  • Enthusiasm for FMEA and continuous quality improvement.
  • Basic knowledge of VDA and ISO requirements.
  • Experience with FMEA software is advantageous but not required.
  • Knowledge of the semiconductor industry, including customer requirements and relevant manufacturing processes, is preferred.
  • Know-how of the semiconductor market is considered an advantage.
