Position Synopsis (Located in Haag Switzerland)

The Key Account Sales Operations Manager is a critical member of the sales operations department and directly responsible for order management and inventory for one of VAT’s Key Accounts. The ideal candidate must be a very strong business process oriented person and act as a partner to peer functions, such as sales, account teams, operations, finance and service. The Key Account Sales Operations Manager must have strong leadership abilities and have demonstrated an ability to bring a matrixed team of people together from various levels and functions in the company to achieve a common goal.

Your responsibilities:

• Must have significant experience supporting projects through to completion in a globally matrixed company
• Prepare presentations, summary reports, spreadsheets, charts and analysis of data from multiple sources for internal and external use.
• Directly responsible for executing the ins and outs of the company inventories including onsite consignment for VAT customers as well as inventory of standard products for quick sale. 
• Impress upon the organization and direct team the importance of anticipating the needs of the customer thus, creating a positive experience.
• Be the main contact point for customer related changes in deliveries and work together with counterparts within global account to resolve issues quickly and pragmatically.   
• Prioritize and understand data from customer portal t oalign and support capacity planning with availability of needed materials, components, equipments, and ressources.
• Support operations and logistics related projects domestically and internationally by working with the various stakeholder groups in the company.
• Supporting account Prodcut Management and Project Teams to fulfill deliveries accoridng to the customer specificiation including labelling and related system documentation.

Your qualifications:

• Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Business or other related field required
• Progressive experience in operations, order and inventory management including experience managing teams and mentoring direct reports. 
• Experience in sales and distribution business requiring strong inventory management focus and controls.
• Experience in business process engineering and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Must be willing to take hands on approach to problem solving.
• Must have an innate desire to business process improvements and drive projects to resolution across all areas of the business.
• Ability to work in a matrix organization.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and the ability to develop complex reports and metrics.
• Ability to travel both domestically and internationally, as required.
