Responsibilities

 

  • Analyse global logistics data, costs and operational performance to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and monitor logistics KPIs, reports and cost-saving initiatives across the global organisation.
  • Conduct root-cause analyses and translate findings into practical process and service improvements.
  • Optimise inbound, outbound and internal goods flows, including transportation routes and distribution processes.
  • Monitor carrier performance, delivery reliability, logistics quality and customer service levels.
  • Support logistics procurement activities, including transport capacity, warehouse space and external logistics services.
  • Work closely with inventory planners to improve inventory visibility, cost control and materials management.
  • Support strategic supply-chain projects, including production relocations and the development of distribution networks.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Business Units, Engineering, warehouses and external logistics partners.
  • Lead or support cross-functional continuous improvement projects and help implement global logistics best practices.

 

Candidate Profile

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or a related quantitative field.
  • At least five years of experience in logistics, supply chain, analytics, consulting or finance.
  • Experience in inventory, demand or supply planning, preferably within manufacturing.Strong analytical, problem-solving and project management skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to convince stakeholders at all levels in an international and matrix-based environment.
  • Structured, self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent German and English.
