AI & Cloud Application Architect

 

Purpose of the role

Join us as a AI & Cloud Application Architect to shape the future of cloud-based business applications in the Supply Chain Management (SCM) department. You'll drive innovation, help to establish a competence center, and train the organization on advanced cloud and AI solutions. Responsibilities

  • Define and design the architectural standards for scalable cloud solutions, including data pipelines, APIs, and analytical tools.
  • Oversee the integrity and performance of all SCM AI models and cloud applications, steering continuous enhancements and optimization.
  • Steer cross-functional workshops to translate complex business needs into technical blueprints that align with our digital capabilities.
  • Lead the scouting of emerging AI/cloud technologies and trends to define the long-term technology stack and vendor strategy.
  • Serve as a technical authority on architectural best practices and strategic "build vs. buy" decisions.
  • Contribute to driving the implementation of the SCM digital roadmap, ensuring all technical projects follow established architectural standards.
  • Lead technical activities in the SCM digital and AI hub, mentoring technical specialists and setting the "best-in-class" standards for the entire organization.

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science, data science, math, engineering, or physics.
  • Extensive hands-on cloud development experience in Azure; knowledge of AWS, GCP and Databricks is a plus.
  • Advanced coding skills (Python, SQL) and experience architecting complex solutions and software on the cloud.
  • Expert knowledge in data engineering, data pipelines, and ETL processes.
  • Proven track record in AI/ML pipelines, preferably in forecasting or other supply chain applications.
  • Mastery of the full software development lifecycle (CI/CD, design, prototyping, deployment, maintenance, etc.).
  • Senior-level experience in cross-functional teamwork, stakeholder management, communication, and presentation..
