This role is crucial in managing NPI (New Product Introduction) project execution, encompassing supply chain setup, source-to-procure processes, end-to-end order fulfilment operations, inventory optimization, product lead time management, and product costing. The objective is to ensure the timely delivery of the right product at the right cost while meeting business specifications, first-to-market timelines, revenue maximization goals, and customer requirements.
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Support project leader to develop sourcing concept and meet cost target for project transfer and new product introduction (NPI)

Responsible for the end-to-end supply chain and execution for all make to project/NPI an assigned by product family.

Responsible to source new parts and BOM with respecting cost, timeline, quality and capacity

Consolidate budget & calculate ROI for parts related to investment tooling, test Equipment, Jig/Fixure, NRE etc.

Interface with Category Manager to identify potential supplier & supplier nomination based on cost, capacity, and capability for all new parts.

Coordinate with supplier for SCR (Supplier Component Review), early design involvement and Design to Cost approach to achieve project cost target.

Coordinate with Supplier Quality Engineer for FA/Prototype build & Quality Task force for all build to print parts.

Participate in product change activities – Track Cost Change, Material Disposition & exposure cost for all new buy parts to Project lead.

Take leadership to ensure NPI parts readiness & action from support team functions are completed on time.

Project Lead to develop product cost down roadmap with global/local cross functional team to meet company KPI

Continually looks for continuous process improvements within the procurement function to maximize ordering efficiency, optimize communication and maintain data integrity.

Work closely with vendor on both process improvement and quality problems. eg. Provide recommendation on changes to tooling for forging etc;

Responsible to hand over product to Product Sustainment Team during mass production

Any other duties as assigned by superior/management.
Minimum Qualification:

Minimum Degree holder with 5-7 years of experience in Engineering, Supply Chain and/or Economics Management

Several years of experience in NPI and operational sourcing experience

Communication skills/written English (German & Chinese will be a plus)

Experience working in metal, machining manufacturing environment would be an added advantage.

Experience in should cost analysis and ability to judge the machining process cost would be an added advantage.

Strong analytical skills coupled with the ability to present results clearly and compellingly

Strong communication skill & cross function collaboration, ability to communicate with cross functional team and management level.
