The Supply Chain Analyst drives the demand planning excellence through forecast governance, inventory optimization, customer program management, supply chain analytics, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to
Demand Analysis
• Analyze short‑term and long‑term forecast demand by evaluating historical consumption, customer backlog, market trends, seasonality, and lead-time variability.
• Identify and manage demand deviations such as: Forecast errors, Aging demand signals, CC-demand requests and Work order closure impacts.
• Own and drive the monthly demand forecast review cycle, ensuring alignment between Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain.
• Facilitate cross-functional discussions to resolve forecast gaps, demand fluctuations, and supply constraints.
• Monitor and improve key metrics including: Forecast Accuracy (WMAPE / Bias), Demand volatility / abnormal signals, Inventory projection vs demand, Excess & Obsolete (E&O) inventory.
Customer Program Parts
• Conduct timely reviews of customer program parts to prevent obsolete and aging materials.
• Coordinate with GA & KA SCM for alignment to ensure customer liabilities are claimed based on signed agreements.
Continuous Improvement Initiative (With global alignment)
• Continuously evaluate and optimize material flow by identifying demand-driven inefficiencies and proposing improvements to enhance overall supply chain (SCM) performance.
• Drive initiatives that improve Forecast accuracy, Inventory turns / DIO, Service level performance, Standardize processes to improve data integrity and planning efficiency.
• Lead demand planning system improvements and rollout across sites.
• Build and develop dashboards with collaboration with IT Team, focusing on demand trends, forecast accuracy, inventory projection vs. demand, inventory turns, and other key metrics for decision support.
• Provide insights and recommendations to management for decision-making
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Business/Mathematics/Statistics/Data Science related field.
• Minimum 5-8 years of working experience in Demand Planning, Inventory Management, or Supply Chain related.
• Proficient in English communication, presentation and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong analytical, logical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Demonstrates a proactive, solution-driven and result-oriented mindset.
• Critical Thinking: Ability to make quick decisions to solves the problem that arise during supply chain operations
Skills (Certifications)
- Strong Understanding on ERP System (Experience in Microsoft D365 is an added advantages),
- Experience with demand planning, forecasting methods, and inventory flow analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, Excel (Macro) and Advanced Planning Tools
