Join our Supplier Development & Quality team and play a key role in driving supplier performance, product quality, and operational excellence across our global supply chain. Drive supplier development, new supplier sourcing & qualification, and machining capability enhancement to support business growth. This role will also release workload from the Change Management team, enabling organization capacity to handle >100 organic growth change requests annually.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and improve supplier quality performance through KPI tracking and regular reviews.
- Execute end to end supplier qualification process from technical feasibility review to process capability validation and production readiness audits
- Lead supplier audits, assessments, and qualification activities.
- Support category managers in supplier selection process by providing capability and risk assessment.
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for supplier quality issues.
- Support new product introduction (NPI) and supplier onboarding activities.
- Analyze quality data and identify improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to mitigate supply chain quality risks.
- Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards and customer requirements.
- Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance supplier capability and process effectiveness.
- Own and execute the change management process, including engineering changes, transfer projects and localization activities.
Qualifications & Competencies
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality, or Supplier Development.
- Knowledge of quality tools including 8D, FMEA, SPC, MSA & GD&T
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong hands-on machining knowledge (CNC milling and turning) with 3-5 years of relevant experience is highly preferred
- Possess material and surface treatment knowledge is an added advantage
