We are seeking a control engineer who is responsible for development & release of the new automated solutions for production and testing in VAT.
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• Support global teams in introducing new End Of Line test processes, including development, manufacturing, and release of production and test devices for NPI and new process requirements.
• Design, manufacture, and release automation equipments and devices for production use, and collaborate with VAT Group and external vendors on equipment, process, and system development.
• Provide technical support and act as subject matter expert in system, software, and hardware integration, troubleshooting production and test equipment, and implementing corrective actions.
• Conduct training for Process Engineers, Production Supervisors/Leaders, and operators, while collaborating with global production and test process engineering teams for knowledge and technology transfer.
• Document technical specifications, installation, operating, and maintenance instructions, and align closely with global technical teams for reporting, system integration, and digitalization of production and test processes.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechatronics Engineering or Automation related engineering field or equavalant.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in automation.
• Pro-active, organized, team-oriented and customer-focused.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in English.
Preferred Qualification
• Proficiency in automation solutions (Beckhoff/TwinCAT, Siemens is an asset) and agile development methodologies.
• Expertise in connectivity of manufacturing equipment and AGV systems.
• Experience in automation of production and End-of-Line testing processes.
• Excellent knowledge of communication protocols and topology architecture.
• Background in valve technology and clean room environments is an advantage.
