Principle Duties & Responsibilities
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• Perform troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of defective or non-conforming products and equipment.
• Support engineering teams in failure analysis and root cause investigation of product or process issues.
• Execute repair and rework activities in accordance with repair procedures and quality standards.• Work closely with engineers to improve repair methods, reduce turnaround time, and enhance repair yield and quality.
• Maintain repair records, service reports, and documentation
• Ensure proper handling, maintenance, and calibration of tools and equipment used in repair processes.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and safety guidelines during all repair activities.
• Provide feedback to engineering teams on recurring issues and support implementation of corrective actions.
• Support daily tasks as assigned by Management.
Job Specification
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualification
• 1–2 years of experience in repair, troubleshooting, or maintenance within the Mechanical Assembly / Manufacturing industry.
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing or equivalent.
• Proficient in English.
Preferred Qualification
• 4 years of experience in repair, maintenance, or troubleshooting in Mechanical Assembly industry (Leak Testing / Cleaning / Cleanroom Assembly equipment).
• Proactive, organized, a good team player, and customer-oriented.
• Strong organizational, time management, and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in vacuum valve industry and repair/maintenance of leak-tight equipment.
• Sound knowledge of measurement instruments and strong hands-on skills in using calipers, gauges, micrometers, and other tools.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
