The Project Manager Engineering reports to the Head of PMO and is primarily responsible for managing PMO, continuous improvement, business and company strategic initiative or program from initiation to completion. The role ensures effective project execution and successful delivery. In addition, the role supports PMO portfolio management through project performance reporting and portfolio analytics.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project & Program Management
    • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives within approved scope, schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
    • Monitor project progress and performance, proactively identifying risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation actions.
    • Facilitate project meetings, steering committee reviews, and stakeholder engagement activities.
    • Prepare and present project status reports, executive updates, and decision-making materials.
    • Ensure projects comply with world-class methodologies, standards, governance requirements, and best practices.
    • Provide coaching to project teams and other business functions on project management methodologies, tools, and practices.
  • Portfolio Analytics & Reporting
    • Support project portfolio reporting by collecting, consolidating, analyzing, and reporting project performance data and key metrics.
    • Develop and maintain portfolio dashboards and management reporting tools to improve project visibility and transparency.
    • Ensure project portfolio data integrity, consistency, and reporting accuracy across the organization.
  • Improvement & Digitalization
    • Drive digitalization, automation, and technology adoption initiatives.
    • Leverage tools and technologies to improve efficiency, reporting accuracy, and decision-making capabilities.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Statistics, or equivalent.
  • Experience: 5+ years as project / program manager or relevant experience.
  • Technical Knowledge: Project management tools and analytical software
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional projects and managing diverse stakeholders.
  • Exposure to project portfolio management, reporting, analytics is advantageous.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certifications such as PMI, Agile, Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, PowerBI, Power Automate, or other tools.
  • Experience in engineering, manufacturing, R&D, or technology-driven environments is preferred.
