Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Leading and coordinate production planning section, perform strategic planning to meet customer demand, with timely delivery of all products in required quality and at reasonable cost level
- Perform long term machine capacity planning and manpower requirement according to forecast, ensure resources are utilized fully and effectively
- Work closely with order processing, making strategic decisions in case and conflict in schedule or capacity for the best interest of customer in terms of delivery and cost
- Plan, regulate and alter production schedule according to demand and with established manufacturing sequences and lead times
- Follow up daily production progress to ensure all activities are carried out according to plan
- Expedite production operations by organizing with various functions and ensuring availability of necessary resources e.g. manpower, raw material, jigs/fixture, as well as machine with right program and parameter
- Support new product introduction to define new processes and resources required
- Ensure accurate information while planning using Dynamics ERP system (D365) and Flexible Manufacturing System (FASTEM) with accurate data entry and timely transactions
- Communication with all responsible departments in case of quality issues, availability of parts and components, critical delivery deadlines, initiation and implementation of improvement measures.
- Ensure optimum stock level at both finished goods store and material kitting area to meet demand and delivery
- To assume tasks, assignment given by supervisor as deemed necessary in improving current system
Minimum Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 5years of working experience in Production Planning.
Preferred Qualification:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to details and good follow-up skills.
- Results and customer orientated team player
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems
