Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• Ensure availability of manufacturing parts for production (machining and assembly) to meet customer demand, with timely delivery of all products in required quality and at reasonable cost level.
• Plan, regulate and alter production schedule according to demand and with established manufacturing sequences and lead times.
• Follow up daily on production/ treatment supplier progress to ensure all activities are carried out in according to plan.
• Expedite production operations by organizing with various functions and ensuring availability of necessary resources e.g. manpower, raw material, jigs/fixture, as well as machine with right program and parameter.
• Perform machine capacity planning and manpower requirement according to forecast, ensure resources are utilized fully and effectively.
• Participate the meeting for new product introduction to define new processes and resources required.
• Ensure accurate information while planning using Dynamics ERP system (D365) and Flexible Manufacturing System (FMS- FASTEMs) with accurate data entry and timely transactions.
• Communication to all responsible departments in case of quality issues, availability of parts and components, critical delivery deadlines, initiation, and implementation of improvement measures.
• Ensure optimum stock level at both finished goods store and material kitting area to meet demand and delivery.
• Initiate and participate in continuous improvement process and 5S at work environment to increase the productivity and maintain safety, especially towards meeting departmental KPI.
• To assume tasks, assignment given by supervisor as deemed necessary in improving current system
Preferred Qualification:
• Bachelor’s degree preferably with minimum 2-3 years of working experience in Production Planning
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Attention to details and good follow-up skills
• Results and customer orientated team player
Strong interpersonal skills Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems
