We are seeking a Product Manager in our Penang office. The ideal candidate has a proven record of developing business and managing a dedicated product portfolio while increasing customer trust and loyalty, demonstrates strategic thinking and an ability to provide fact driven proposals to solve complex problems by leveraging a globally matrixed team.

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Supports sales organization in regards to all technical & operational aspects.
• Driving the corporate strategy through a globally matrixed team across multiple functions.
• Proven knowhow to monitor profitability of existing customer products and deriving measures in order to sustain and increase the profitability.
• Accountable for customization- & industrialization projects and technical customer documentation like manuals, product data sheets according to European machinery directive.
• Coordination of customer visits, audits and customer specific requirements across the VAT group business units and legal entities for implementation into engineering and operational processes.
• Supervising all changes in regards to supply chain, manufacturing and assembly processes and preparing documentation for customer relevant changes and submitting it to the respective customers following the customer specific change management (CE!, CEx and POR) processes.

Qualifications:

• At least a Bachelor's Degree in sciences, engineering, or Semiconductor related engineering disciplines. Relevant PhD or Master's Degree in relevant engineering discipline or a MBA is preferred.
• Product and account management experience in a matrix organization.
• At least 5 -10 years experience in relevant field. 
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, time management, analytical & communication skills.
• Proficiency in Mandarin language is an added advantage to work with China customers.
