We are looking for a Process Engineer who will be responsible for development and release of End-Of-Line test processes in Assembly.


Your responsibilities include, but not limited to: 

 

  • Lead cross-functional teams in introduction of new End-Of-Line test processes at VAT-MY in collaboration with global team in headquarter and ensure test process robustness for FPY rate upkeep in series production
  • Actively contribute in NPI activities for development, implementation and release of robust End-Of-Line testing process.
  • Support cross-functional team initiatives to continuously improve assembly line quality, safety and productivity
  • Improve and standardize assembly and test troubleshooting methods to enhance process efficiency, quality and safety
  • Actively contribute in pFMEA to analyse quality risks and define preventive and detective actions to mitigate them.
  • Work closely with counterparts from VAT Group for new Equipment, Process and System development for technological advancement related to test processes
  • Engage in problem solving activities, implement corrective actions and effectively communicate those actions to all required personnel.
  • Conduct training for Production Supervisor / Leader / assemblers in the use and applications of various testing systems / equipment / devices and processes.
  • Provide technical support to production for troubleshooting of daily assembly and test process failures, investigate the root cause and establish corrective / preventive actions.
  • Be the subject matter expert for functional test, vacuum / pneumatic leak tests and electrical test processes and provide training to trainers, engineers, technicians and assemblers.
  • Actively collaborate with global assembly process and test engineering team from headquarter for knowledge and technology transfer.
  • Support global technical engineering team to develop and sustain various assembly and test devices in assembly.
  • Responsible of adaptation of inspection plans in test devices according to engineering requirements as per Bill of Materials.
  • Support daily tasks as given by Management

 

 

Minimum Qualification : 

 

  • Advanced Diploma / Degree / master’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics / Industrial / Manufacturing or equivalent
  • Know-how in vacuum physics, electro-mechanical systems
  • Experience in vacuum valve industry, wafer fabrication tools or manufacturing of helium leak-tight products
  • Technical hands-on skills in equipment troubleshooting (electrics, pneumatics, mechanics) and vacuum leak test failures
  • Proficient in English.
  • Pro-active, Organized, good team player and customer-oriented
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

 

 

Preferred Qualification :

 

  • Prefer minimum 5 years of experience in Mechanical Assembly industry (Process Development / Leak Testing / Cleaning / Assembly).
  • Know-how in vacuum physics, electro-mechanical systems
  • Relevant experience in automation is preferred
  • Pro-active, Organized, good team player and customer-oriented
