We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer who is responsible for ensuring the equipment safety, availability and reliability. This role includes resolving technical problems across electrical, mechanical, software, control circuits and applications associate to Chemical Cleaning with Ultrasonic Machine, Vulcanization, Vacuum oven.

Principle Duties & Responsibilities

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Responsible for creating and executing preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance plans to ensure the availability and reliability of equipment.
• Lead a team of maintenance technicians in carrying out daily maintenance task and manage equipment down time escalation. Trigger external service provider as needed.
• Primary contact in dealing with external Equipment vendor to carry out assigned task or resolving problems.
• Identify, develop and implement solutions to improve equipment availability, reliability and cost.
• Responsible for maintaining records and documenting of knowledge, skill, procedures, schedules, repair logs and equipment performance metrics as necessary.
• Ensure adequacy of spare parts, equipment and service from external provider are available when needed.
• Ensure QMS, EMS and EHS policies and procedures are carried out and maintained.
• Understand all relevant VAT Malaysia policies and procedures, provide training and briefing to maintenance technicians as needed.
• Collaborate with other stakeholders from cross functional team to resolve internal or external complaints related to quality or yield.
• Collaborate with other global sites on process alignment and implement best known practices as needed.
• Other duty as assigned by supervisor from time to time.

Minimum Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic Engineering or Science
• Diploma in Engineering/Science from accredited institution with more than 3 years of related working experience.
• Good in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong project management and organization skill
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels in Bahasa Malaysia and English in verbal and writing.

Preferred Qualification

• Understand PLC, Basic Vacuum Technology, Ultrasonic Cleaning
• Understand Engineering Materials and Failure Analysis
• Mechanical Design, Mechanical Assembly skills
• Computerized Maintenance Management System
• Understand and able to apply 7 quality tools in problem solving.
