The Inventory Analyst is responsible for overseeing inventory management operations and partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal material flow and alignment with site inventory targets. The role focuses on monitoring inventory health, analyzing variances and aging, and driving continuous improvements in inventory systems and reporting across sites.  This position plays a key role in establishing optimal stock levels through data-driven analysis of demand variability, lead times, and seasonality, while supporting digitalization initiatives through dashboards and analytics. The Inventory Analyst also collaborates with stakeholders to manage slow-moving and obsolete inventory, ensuring timely disposition in line with governance processes, and continuously identifies opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.

 

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Oversee inventory management within operations and coordinate with cross-functional teams to regulate material inflow and outflow, ensuring alignment with site inventory targets
  • Monitor inventory health and analyse deviations, including work order reconciliation/closure, SMI aging inventory, aging work orders, and aging CC-demand requests.
  • Lead the implementation of enhancements in inventory systems both locally and across multiple sites.
  • Establish optimal stock levels for each product/component by analyzing demand variability, lead times, and seasonality, utilizing Excel tools and other available systems.
  • Develop dashboards at both site and PL levels, and support the digitalization of reports, focusing on inventory trends, inventory projection reports, inventory turn rate analysis, and more.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate slow-moving inventory (SMI) for retention or disposal, prepare scrap forms for dead stock, obtain approval from the respective department heads, and coordinate with the warehouse for scrapping.
  • Strive to understand and optimize material flow, and identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of supply chain management (SCM) operations.

 

Minimum Qualification:    

  • At least Bachelor's Degree (Preferably in Business/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Data Science related field)
  • Minimum 3+ years of working experience in Supply Chain related field. (Preferably in inventory management)
  • Proficient in English Communication and Presentation
  • Strong logical mindset, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional department effectively.
  • Absolute integrity 

 

Preferred Qualification:

  • ERP System (Prefered in D365) 
  • Inventory Management (Inflow and Outflow)
  • Microsoft Power BI, Excel Macro and Advanced Planning Tools
