VAT Manufacturing Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is searching for an enthusiastic self-starter to join our internship program. The internship program provides university graduates with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of vulcanization, a critical process in the manufacturing of rubber and related materials. This internship is designed to provide aspiring individuals with a comprehensive understanding of the Vulcanize department's operations and contribute to their professional development.
 

This role will have opportunity to:

• exposure in fundamental of tool design for rubber moulding.
• involve in tool troubleshooting and problem-solving activities.
• Understanding in tool buyoff, inspection, assembly, and quality.
• Collaborate with professionals from various department, such as design. Production, and cleaning to understand how different function contribute to the overall manufacturing process.
• Gain hands-on experience with the Vulcanization process itself, understanding the parameters that the quality and properties of the vulcanized materials.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities :

• To support manufacturing relating to process improvement so that it contributes towards the profitability & sustainability of the company.
• Support in establishing manufacturing methods, procedures, and activities with proper documents.
• Support in 2D drafting if required.
• Prepare and create Bill of Material (B.O.M)
• Support to prepare and setup TPM & autonomous maintenance planning on tools, jigs & fixtures with proper procurement documentation.
• Support and organise in spare part arrangement activities.
• Generate drawings for production needs if required.
• Design basic components for tools using 3D software. (Top Solid)

Minimum Qualification :

• Diploma or Degree in Manufacturing Technology / Moulding / Mechanical disciplines are preferred
• Strong analytical skills coupled with the ability to present results clearly and compellingly.
• Strong communication skill & cross function collaboration.
• Self-motivator who works effectively in team or independent work environments 
• Able to read technical drawings 
• 3D CAD software skills added advantage.
• Basic knowledge in GD&T symbols
