YOUR CHALLENGES

VAT Group is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead complex, multi-stream technology initiatives.
In this role, you will drive the end-to-end delivery of key IT projects as a senior leader in project execution and stakeholder alignment.

Project Leadership

• Lead medium- to large-scale IT projects across multiple business and IT streams.
• Manage diverse stakeholders at different levels, ensuring alignment, transparency, and structured communication.
• Oversee project planning, execution, governance, and quality assurance.

Cost & Execution Reporting
The role requires strong, project controlling and reporting expertise to ensure full transparency across all initiatives:

• Project Control (incl. Cost)
  -    Ensure budget approval before project sourcing begins.
  -    Monitor cost development throughout all project phases.
  -    Compare budgeted vs. actual costs and explain variances.
  -    Manage estimates, burn rate, forecasts, and corrective actions.
  -    Deliver timely and accurate financial updates with appropriate escalation paths.
• Execution Reporting
  -    Track project progress against milestones, scope, and deliverables.
  -    Maintain accurate reporting of RAID items, KPIs, and timeline adherence.
  -    Support governance bodies with structured, high-quality reporting packs.

YOUR COMPETENCIES

• Experience
  -    5 years of experience managing IT projects in mid- to large-scale environments.
  -    Strong track record of managing multi-stream projects with complex stakeholder landscapes.
• Skills & Knowledge
  -    Strong project management capabilities (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
  -    Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across senior and operational levels.
  -    Strong facilitation, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Tools
  -    Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, Confluence, or similar tools.
  -    Familiarity with financial planning or reporting tools is an advantage.
