General Summary (Role summary and objectives/ description of the role)  

Role of facility technician is to ensure smooth operation and maintenance of building/facility system. To ensure that facility system are maintain in functional condition and un-interruption to production. Working under close supervision assists in monitoring facility system operations and performance as well as maintain necessary documentation.

Principle Duties & Responsibilities

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Responsible for all facility related equipment and building preventive maintenance, repairing and servicing including maintaining of all related records and perform proper document filling and daily report.
• Perform operational, preventive maintenance tasks and corrective work as instructed and in accordance with checklist
• Attend to internal customer feedback including emergency calls
• Coordinate and supervise supplier or contractor for facility related works
• Support on spare parts inventory
• Support on scheduled waste inventory and operation
• Perform 6’s at work place
• Perform facility round readings, routine inspection and facilities equipment status update
• Follow up on facility instrument calibration
• Follow up & support on NEBB cleanroom performance testing, genset, air emission, TOC and compress dry air monitoring report
• Contribute to cost saving and continuous improvement program
• Any other duties as and when assigned by supervisor

Job Specification

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualification

• Certification on electrical / mechanical engineering or equivalent
• Chargeman A0/A1 certificate from Suruhanjaya Tenaga
• Diploma in engineering / technology or equivalent (Min CGPA > 3.0)

Preferred Qualification

• Wireman Certificate
• Atleast Chargeman A0/A1 certificate from Suruhanjaya Tenaga
• Diploma in engineering / technology or equivalent (Min CGPA > 3.0)
• Basic computer skill of Microsoft Office
• Familiar with safety & health / JKKP / DOE / ST law and regulation
