General Summary
Facility Project Engineer is responsible for facility system upgrading / retrofit/hook-up project management (OPEX/CAPEX) and ensure project on schedule/Budget/Resources. Besides, he/she shall ensure smooth operation of both plants (1A & 1B) facilities system with minimum unplanned down time. Also coordinate among stakeholders and provide support to production / manufacturing needs. At the same time control operating expenses and ensure operation within budget. He/she also responsible to develop direct reports through hands-on and proper training. On top of that, he/she requires to perform/Involved internal/external Audit/Risk Assessment.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Lead or support any Plant Facilities Upgrading/Retrofit/hook up project. Define & establish Scope of Work (SOW) which related to Facilities System or Works.
- Enforce 6S work culture to internal stakeholders as well as contractors to prevent unforeseen safety, health and environmental accident or incident.
- Ensure all facilities system/equipment are in healthy/optimum running conditions to minimize interruption to production operation.
- Develop new facility equipment’s SOP, WI, PM Checklist, Daily R&R checklist are adhered to Master Facility operation plan and authorities’ compliance.
- Ensure good document keeping on new facility equipment’s drawing, Test report, O&M manual, etc.
- Coordinate Facility team activities and guide the team to meet organization goal while maintaining high engagement level of the team.
- Ensure communication and engagement with key-stakeholders are always at optimum level.
- Proactively provide improvement ideas, tools, technique and support in improvement activities.

- To work closely with key stakeholders to ensure all upgrading/retrofit project is following VAT safety requirement, guideline and local regulatory requirements.
Job Specification
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualification
- Minium of Bachelor Degree in Mechanical and or Electrical Engineering, Construction Project Management or any field related to Facilities / building services system and or operation education background.
- Minimum 2 years working experience in related field.
Preferred Qualification
- Experience in operating and maintaining building services or facilities mechanical system including Clean Room Operation and or electrical system or utilities such as CDA/OFA, RODI, IETS, PCW.
- Experience in a new factory start-up (Greenfield) or expansion project (Brownfield) will be an added advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to all levels in organization including external agencies.
- Basic computer skill of Microsoft Office
- Familiar with safety & health / JKKP / DOE / ST law and regulation
