To strengthen our team, we are looking for an analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst / Controller.
In this role, you will combine data-driven analysis with core controlling responsibilities to support management with meaningful reports, forecasts, and actionable recommendations.
You will drive transparency around business performance, enhance reporting and digitalization, and help enable informed, data-based decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, develop, and automate reports, dashboards, and management information systems, leveraging tools such as Power BI
- Analyze business, financial, and operational KPIs, including cost drivers, production performance, and working capital metrics
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and month-end closing, including variance analysis and performance tracking
- Monitor and analyze cost structures (material, labor, overhead) and support standard costing processes and variance analysis
- Support capex planning, tracking, and investment analysis, ensuring alignment with business priorities
- Provide insights into operational efficiency, cost optimization, and productivity improvements
- Collect, validate, and interpret data from multiple sources, ensuring data quality and consistency
- Develop and enhance KPI frameworks and identify trends, risks, and opportunities into performance dashboards to support operations and management
- Drive digitalization and automation initiatives within finance and reporting processes
- Work closely with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and Management teams as a business partner
- Prepare ad hoc analyses, business cases, and presentations for decision-making
- Contribute to process improvements, standardization, and strengthening internal controls
Core Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Business Informatics, Data Analytics, or a comparable field.
- 5- 8+ years of professional experience in controlling, business analytics, finance analytics, inventory analysis, or a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or operations environment
- Strong Excel skills and experience with BI and reporting tools such as Power BI
- Sound understanding of financial metrics, budgeting processes, and business performance drivers, including exposure to standard costing
- Structured, independent, and accurate working style with strong numerical and analytical skills, to manage complex datasets and processes
- Analytical mindset and the ability to present complex information in a clear and understandable way.
- Strategic thinking capability with attention to both detail and big-picture impact, combined with execution capability
- Strong communication skills and confidence in working with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Fluent English skills, written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ERP systems and planning tools.
- Knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, automation solutions, or digital reporting environments
- Experience in a regulated or data-intensive business environment.
- Understanding of internal control systems and process improvement.
