We are looking for Quality Engineer who is highly motivated and further develop their quality management and problem solving skill. In this position, you will work closely with cross-functional team to support job role needs such as managing product quality plan and customer complains. The ideal candidate should demonstrate the following behavioural skills :

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• Identifies and analyses issues, defects and other problems, particularly when problems recur in multiple products, recommends and facilitates solutions to prevent recurrences of these issues.
• Interfacing with customer on quality related topics
• Be the Customer Representative ensuring full compliance to Copy Exact requirements
• Driving Product and Quality performance improvement
• Leading customer audits and customer quality performance reporting
• Maintaining high standard of 8D reports.
• Ensures out of control situations are managed effectively through a well-defined Out of Control Action Plans (OCAP), e.g. timely and effective containment actions.
• High code-of conduct, professional and reliable towards customer satisfaction creation.
• Adopt and cultivates VAT Passions: Intergrity, Teamwork, Customer Centricity and Innovation
• Engages the team with the end in mind of making VAT a Great Place To Work
• Drive and work with VAT internal stake holders to achieve or surpass the key performance indicators
• Develop Quality Improvement Strategies and Targets that support well the company goals.
• Cultivates Preventive Mindset and Risk-Based Thinking approach.
• Driving the team in meeting customer and product quality expectations and requirement including Scorecard Improvements and Escalation Management.
Minimum Qualification:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering , Electronic & Electrical Engineering or any other science/engineering related field
• Additional degree in quality engineering or successful track record in a quality engineer position is advantageous.
Profound experience of the quality process (mechanisms) of high tech components in a highly consolidated market environment on a global scale.
