Principle Duties & Responsibilities

 

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Budgeting: Leading the creation of CAPEX Budgets and Forecasts, including MTP (Mid-Term Planning) and depreciation simulations. The owner of this role works closely with various departments and legal entities to gather input and ensure accuracy.
  • Financial Reporting: Preparation of CAPEX reports and charts to support executive decision-making within the VAT Group. Ensures the accuracy and transparency of global reporting and analyses variances from actual results vs. Budget and Forecast.
  • Responsible for global CAPEX processes, including CAPEX approval workflows. Support internal teams in understanding and executing CAPEX procedures.
  • CAPEX Tool Implementation: Supports the rollout and refinement of the Global CAPEX Management Tool, aimed at reducing manual effort and improving data accuracy.
  • Support Operation Departments in all activities related to CAPEX, including preparation of Business cases and ROI calculations.
     

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

 

Minimum Qualification: 

  • Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance with professional.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Controller in an industrial environment 

 

Preferred Qualification:

  • Financial Controller with a forward-looking mindset to contribute to overall performance analytics incl. hands-on financial controlling skills.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to influence and impact key stakeholders effectively.
  • Ability to develop and maintain constructive relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • ERP-knowledge as well as BI-reporting skills are rated as an asset
