To strengthen internal communication at VAT, we are looking for a dynamic, motivated and creative communications professional to join our small team and support us in a broad and interesting field of work. Together with the Group Function Communication & Investor Relations team based in the Headquarter in Switzerland and the local HR department, the job holder will be responsible for all internal communication activities for VAT Malaysia.

Your new field of activity

  • Develop an internal communication strategy for VAT Malaysia in close collaboration with the Group Function at the Headquarter in Switzerland
  • Create engaging stories about VAT Malaysia with its various businesses and functions, and generally life at our company (drafting corporate articles, presentations & speeches, news, etc.)
  • Organize internal events and create a unique experience for our employees
  • Adapt global internal strategy and information campaigns and coordinate the roll-out for VAT Malaysia
  • Increase VAT Malaysia’s digital presence through various channels including building up a long-term social media strategy
  • Support VAT Malaysia’s external communication initiatives such as the website content, publication of business results and occasional media contact

Your skills and talents

  • Master or Bachelor degree and business experience in internal communications and project work
  • 5 years working experience in corporate communication in an international company (ideally Indutrial)
  • Strong project management skills
  • You are proactive and work independently
  • Your precise and meticulous way of working distinguishes you from others
  • You enjoy shaping the internal communications efforts and think ahead to identify future development steps
  • Experience in the creation of English texts on complex topics and for different channels of internal communication
  • You keep a cool head even in hectic times
  • You have excellent oral and written skills in English and Malay
