Talent and Engagement Specialist

 

A global function that efficiently and effectively manage Talent, Development and Culture Programs and Projects to ensure the achievement of our VAT Group’s People Strategy. This includes partnering with the Head of Talent & Culture, HR Business Partners and Business / Functional leaders in successfully developing and implementing initiatives to bring impact on the development of talent and culture.

 

Responsibilities :

 

  • Responsible for leading the design, implementation, and management of talent development strategies and embed engagement initiatives that align with organizational goals.
  • Establish clear Talent development framework and requirements.
  • Program owner for leadership training.

 

This includes:

 

  • Designing and delivering training programs, workshops, and learning initiatives, including leadership development and succession planning.
  • Working closely with external training providers in reviewing content, manage training participation and ensuring training effectiveness.
  • Global process owner for the talent review cycle to lead and manage the global operating rhythm for talent reviews and succession planning to ensure timely completion.
  • Be the global process owner of SuccessFactors talent processes such as succession, talent profile, talent calibration in collaboration with HRIT team as product owner.
  • Provide subject matter expertise for Talent Management Systems & reporting including enhancement of the development tools:
    • Development Goals Module
    • Calibration Module
    • Succession Module
  • Develop and implement resources, tools and information that would support Line Managers, and HR Business Partners to drive development and career planning and an on-going learning culture within the organization.
  • Support in driving the follow up and follow-through using analysis of the results, timely reporting, effective communication and active collaboration with the various HR Business Partners.
  • Work with People Analytics on the talent KPI’s and talent data to gain actionable insights for managers, HRBP’s and the Talent function.
  • Global Program Owner for the Annual Engagement Survey. This includes leading the end-to-end process of organizing, communicating and rolling out the engagement survey. Working closely with the survey provider on analysis, creation of reports, management of the platform and project leading engagement activities.
  • Work closely with the Head of Talent & Culture to project manage the global organization evolution process ensuring timely delivery and support material is in place.
  • Implement and manage assessment tools to enable employees to gain insight into their strengths and areas for development. Ensure they are utilized to the highest professional standards by educating managers, employees and HRBP’s.
  • Act as an Internal Coach and contact point to the HRBPs on performance management and talent management topics.
  • Ensure that the companies ambitions to create an inclusive workplace is embedded in the talent processes.
  • Manage and collaborate on other key Talent & Culture projects and initiatives that positively impacts HR, the Business and the organization as a whole.
  • Benchmark best practices in the relevant industry and emulate Talent Development approach that fits VAT.

 

Qualifications: 

 

  • Proven track record of developing and implementing HR / Talent programs and projects that are aligned to the business strategy.
  • In-depth hands-on experience in managing HR initiatives in a global setting.
  • Internal Job Market, Succession Planning & Assessment Exposure.
  • Exposure and knowledge in implementation of talent management strategies and practices including high potential identification and acceleration, assessment, succession planning, career planning, talent movement - in order to build a healthy bench of key talents and critical roles.
  • Must have: system familiarity with talent platforms and HR systems (preferably SuccessFactors).
  • Must have: experience in facilitating training and discussions in a fast paced, diverse and changing environment.
  • Must have: prior experience in working within a company with mature talent development (Semicon or Tech industries preferred).
  • Project and program management, ability to execute projects in a systematic and structured manner with focus on delivery and results.
  • Ability to influence and manage various key stakeholders with diverse backgrounds and cultures – both internal and external.
  • Curious mindset, proactive in bringing in new ideas and improvements.
  • Ability to balance and manage different tasks and projects with competing priorities and timelines.
  • Good organizational and facilitation skills coupled with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to apply design and systems thinking.
  • Collaborative and acts as a team player, yet able to operate independently.
