YOUR CHALLENGES

 

  • Evaluation of potential suppliers together with the Category Management department
  • Planning and performing system and process audits with selected suppliers
  • Supervision of process and quality improvement activities with selected suppliers, including qualification and validation
  • Evaluation of the existing supply chain regarding process capabilities and development potential
  • Maintaining working relationships between all departments
  • Monitoring of assigned supplier KPIs and tracking of corrective actions
  • Reporting on the performance of the supplier portfolio to the Head of Global Supplier Development & Quality at HQ – Switzerland
  • Training of suppliers in VAT specific processes, standards and technologies
  • Review of initial sample test reports from suppliers
  • Processing of complaints using the 8D method

 

YOUR COMPETENCIES

 

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or similar background
  • Professional experience in a quality-oriented technical position for at least 4 years
  • An additional degree in quality engineering would be an advantage
  • Fluent written and spoken Romanian and English
  • Willingness to travel internationally (30-40%)

 

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Profound quality experience with high-tech components
  • Knowledge of internal and external auditing
  • Good knowledge of quality management systems
  • Qualification as internal or external auditor would be an advantage
  • Working in international teams, ability to work in a matrix organization
  • Good listening and negotiation skills as well as good communication skills across departmental boundaries
  • Project management skills
  • High level of resilience and flexibility
  • Awareness of customer requirements and relevant processes in the semiconductor industry preferred

 

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATOR (KPIs)

 

  • Meeting the supplier KPI (OPPM target) for the assigned suppliers
  • Compliance with the product group strategy
  • Assigned suppliers are trained and qualified in the relevant processes
