YOUR CHALLENGES

The Purpose of the Quality Engineer is to strive for a zero-defect culture within our production site.   • Acting as the Quality Engineer within the production site, pursuing quality performance, driving continuous improvement, and leading Q-innovation projects
  • Coordinating and processing of customer and internal claims (8D & NC reports)
  • Creating quality statistics and developing measures to turn-around negative trends
  • Ensuring quality standards throughout the production site
  • Driving a quality mindset within the production site by providing Quality specific trainings
  • Performing internal process audits
  • Taking up quality topics and acting as interface towards Production, Engineering and Corporate Quality
  • Providing support during customer audits

 

 

YOUR COMPETENCIES

  • Ideally university degree in related field (Engineering, Welding etc.), or at least technical education with advanced training in quality management
  • Very good Romanian and English skills, German is a plus
  • Preferably 3+ years of experience in the quality process (welding) of high-tech components in a highly consolidated market environment, ideally on a global scale
  • Good knowledge of key quality tools such as 3-legged 5 Why, SPC, Ishikawa, etc.
  • Ideally good knowledge of quality process/requirements in welding process
  • Communicative personality with the ability to work in a multicultural, matrix environment
  • Solid experience in managing complaints and 8D reports
  • Experience with internal and external audits
  • ISO 3834 knowledge
  • Certificate for VT welding - visual inspection
