Efficiently and effectively manage global learning & development (L&D), talent & culture projects to ensure the achievement of our VAT Group’s People Strategy. This includes working with internal and external key stakeholders in successfully developing and implementing initiatives to bring impact on people growth, development, learning and culture.

YOUR CHALLENGES

  • Manage and collaborate on key projects and initiatives that positively impacts HR, the Business and the organization as a whole: This consists of but not limited to learning & development projects that aims to cultivate a learning culture as part of the Talent Roadmap and strategy:
    • Ensure smooth running of VAT Learning Academy activities.Being the subject matter expert on Learning Management System (LMS) including support in system enhancement projects
    • Annual Learning Needs Analysis 
    • Act as an internal trainer on key and relevant topics in tandem with other HR Project Managers and HRBPs.
  • Develop and implement resources, tools and information that would support continuous, bite sized learning for Line Managers and HR Business Partners that drives a learning culture.
  • Lead and manage the global operating rhythm for Talent activities in line with the Talent Management Roadmap.
  • Global program owner for leadership training. This includes working closely with external training providers in reviewing content, monitoring participation and ensuring effectiveness of training sessions.
  • Act as an Internal Coach and contact point to the HRBPs on performance management, talent management and learning & development topics.

YOUR COMPETENCIES

  • In-depth knowledge and expertise in managing Learning Management Systems and learning content.
  • Successful track record in managing HR projects and initiatives in a global setting.
  • Exposure in Talent Development, Learning and Organizational Development technologies gained through professional work experience in areas including Instructor led training, computer-based training, virtual learning and learning networks, multi-media modalities in training
  • Hands-on experience in facilitating training and discussions in a fast paced, diverse and changing environment.
  • Ideally has exposure and knowledge in implementation of talent management strategies and practices including high potential identification and acceleration, assessment, succession planning, career planning, talent movement - in order to build a healthy bench of key talents and critical roles.
  • Project and program management, with focus on delivery and results
  • Ability to influence and manage various key stakeholders with diverse backgrounds and cultures – both internal and external.
  • German language capability an advantage
  • Ability to balance and manage different tasks and projects with competing priorities and timelines
  • Good organizational and facilitation skills coupled with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to apply design and systems thinking.
  • Have intellectual curiosity and ability to bring valuable insight from the outside-in.  
  • Collaborative and acts as a team player, yet able to operate independently.

Role reports to the Head of Talent & Culture based in Switzerland.
