Responsibilities:

  • Creating the execution technology and documentation.
  • Retrieving the necessary technical drawings  specifications from the computer system for technology creation.
  • Running the heating press programs, configuring molding parameters, and installing/adjusting molds on the machines.
  • Continuously monitoring and updating the vulcanization technologies, and vulcanization related processes preparation, trimming, cleaning, testing, packaging.
  • Manage the necessary tool and mold requirement for producing the parts.
  • Work instructions creation for all procesess related to vulcanization
  • Collaborating with shift supervisors regarding technological issues, vulcanization improvements, and procedure accuracy.
  • Intervening to resolve process non-conformities (if necessary).
  • Continuously training operators on press adjustments, trimming techniques, cleanroom protocols, and technical drawing concepts.
  • Calculating vulcanization and cleanroom packaging costs and keeping scrap rates and resource costs under control.
  • Developing and implementing technology for new elastomer items, supporting the execution of EMP/FAI articles.

 

Requirements:

  • Specialized studies - higher education in a technical field (Materials Science, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering).
  • Knowledge of elastomer properties, vulcanization processes, technical drawing, and mold design.
  • Knowledge of heating press programming principles and cleanroom operational standards (ISO classes).
  • Communication skills in English.
