Main Purpose of the job:

 
  • System responsibility for VAT's CAD/CAM system.
  • System release of new and special tools. Capture of standard parts. 
  • First and second level support TopSolid 7 und TopSolid 7 Shop Floor 
  • Create, manage and maintain system templates and structures (TopSolid 7)

 

MAIN ROLE AND ACTIVITIES 

  • System responsibility TopSolid 7/ TopSolid 7 Shop Floor global 
  • First level support TopSolid 7 und TopSolid 7 Shop Floor 
  • Preparation and updating of (old) CH-CAM data programs 
  • Preparation and updating of (old) CH-CAD data fixtures 
  • Release and transfer of CAM and CAD data 
  • Support for process and runtime optimization 
  • Creation of program templates 
  • Tool optimizations 
  • Training Top Solid Tool basic 
  • DFM (design for manufacturing) feasibility clarifications requests from MY,RO and CH 
  • Definition and standardization of new tools (functional clarification) 
  • Project management and support for production initiatives for all machining sites  

 

KEY EXPERIENCES 

  • Apprenticeship in a technical profession (polymechanic, tool maker, automation engineer...) 
  • Several years of experience in machining 
  • Several years of experience in CAD/CAM 
  • Experience in various machining processes (turning, milling, clamping, fixture design)  
  • Good knowledge of IT company server, network, machine interfaces, interface configuration. 
  • Reading and understanding 2D drawings. 
  • Recognize and show solutions regarding runtime optimizations (processes, CAM, tolerances, tools, fixtures).
