MAIN ROLE AND ACTIVITIES
• Project Lead & Execution
o Lead the complete lifecycle of line implementation projects from concept through commissioning, ramp-up, and handover to production.
o Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, budgets, risk registers, resource allocations, and milestone tracking.
o Ensure project objectives are aligned with business strategy, operational requirements, and manufacturing excellence standards.
o Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders across multiple sites and departments.
o Facilitate regular project reviews, steering committee meetings, and executive status updates
• Process Design
o Analyze existing manufacturing processes and define future-state automated production concepts
o Lead specification, selection, procurement, and acceptance of automated equipment and manufacturing technologies
o Collaborate with automation engineers, machine builders, and system integrators to ensure technical requirements are met
o Oversee Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), commissioning activities, and production validation.
KEY EXPERIENCES
o Experience in Industrial Engineering, Automation Engineering or Project Management
o Experience in leading capital investment projects involving automation, robotics, assembly lines or production equipment
o Experience coordinating cross-functional teams, including Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, MAI, EHS, IT
o Experience working with machine builders, automation integrators, robotic suppliers and industrial equipment manufacturers for FAT, SAT, commissioning, validation for production readiness
o Experience with Lean Manufacturing, SixSigma, Continous Improvement is an advantage.
COMPETENCIES
o Knowledge of engineering development processes and working methods
o Good communication skills in English; German is an advantage
o Proactive, well organized, team-oriented, and customer-focused
