TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Complying with instructions from the Purchasing Team Leader and Supply Chain Manager, as well as the organization's activity schedule.
  • Organizing procurement activities to achieve the objectives set by the organization's management.
  • Preparing and sending requests for quotes to suppliers and analyzing the offers.
  • Analyzing supplier prices and their dynamics.
  • Negotiating sales terms with suppliers, including price, delivery terms, payment conditions, transportation, etc., securing the best conditions for VAT Romania, and drafting and signing contracts with suppliers.
  • Preparing and sending procurement orders, ensuring the inclusion of product technical specifications and applicable standards.
  • Monitoring compliance with delivery deadlines.
  • Periodically evaluating suppliers according to current procedures and preparing the Approved Supplier List.
  • Accurately recording all data, including in the IT system.
  • Attending all scheduled or unscheduled training sessions.
  • Sending complaints to suppliers when necessary.
  • Communicating payment amounts and deadlines to the Financial-Accounting Department.
  • Blocking supplier invoices in case of quality issues.
  • Ensuring correct time-stamping of documents.
  • Constantly striving to improve the quality management system, optimize activities, and reduce losses.
  • Being loyal to the organization and not disclosing or distributing documents without approval.
  • Procuring indirect materials required for production.
  • Collaborating with the technical and production departments to determine all necessary details for
